Amsterdam, November 27, 2025 – Dutch real estate agent comparison platform Krib launches a free tool that makes selling information visible on property websites.
Purchase prices in the neighborhood
Krib, a comparison website for finding a real estate agent, today launches a Chrome app that helps house hunters during their visits to property websites. The app shows information about a property that is normally difficult to find for buyers. A visitor sees through the tool when viewing a property the selling history, average price per square meter in the neighborhood, WOZ value development and the selling prices of comparable sold properties in the area.

Help buyers with realistic expectations
Real estate agents regularly put properties on the market with a low asking price to attract more interested parties. The result is that the final selling price is often much higher than what is shown online as the asking price.
“For house hunters this leads to wrong expectations, unnecessary viewings and ultimately disappointment when it turns out that the house is sold outside their budget”, says Krib founder Antoine Steenkamer.
“By providing insight into the differences between the selling price and asking price of houses in the neighborhood, future buyers get a more realistic picture of the likely selling price. This way buyers can see if a property actually fits their budget. This makes the search process more targeted and prevents unnecessary frustration.”
